Leveled Literacy Intervention, LLI, is a short term, research-based program. It is small group instruction in reading, writing and phonics. The lessons are supplemental to classroom instruction.
At Foothill, LLI is taught in kindergarten through second grade. LLI lessons occur daily and last 30 minutes. Groups are limited to three students. The goal of LLI instruction is to bring students to grade level reading and writing proficiency.
